G4 may still live: months after laying off a number of staff and canceling both of the struggling channel’s flagship gaming shows, NBC Universal has decided to keep G4 alive, The Hollywood Reporter reports. That’s right: instead of turning G4 into the newly-branded Esquire all yono app Channel as part of a licensing deal with the Hearst corporation, the folks 
at NBC have decided to leave things as is, despite the fact that G4’s major studio shows, X-Play and Attack of the Show, no longer exist. The on-air talent is all gone too
